This past Saturday, November 17, a group of us met at the Taylorsville Library for a fun, laid-back afternoon of teamwork and puzzling. Organized by Allen Greenwell and the Utah Speed Puzzling Facebook group, we worked together to complete a jigsaw puzzle—and enjoy some good company along the way.
The group of 13, including a little one who stole the show by placing the last piece, tackled a 2,000 piece Buffalo Games puzzle featuring hot air balloons. The biggest challenge? Getting all those pieces sorted so everyone could jump in and start puzzling! But with some teamwork (and plenty of patience), the puzzle came together beautifully.
Once the main puzzle was done, there was still time to break into smaller groups and work on a few 300 and 500 piece puzzles. The vibe was super chill and friendly, with lots of chatting and casual introductions throughout the afternoon.
Looking ahead, the Utah Speed Puzzling is hosting a pairs’ puzzle relay on December 14, and we’d love to see some new faces.
