Over the Christmas break we had a speed run competition. The puzzle was a 300-piece puzzle by Ceaco called Gnomes get Baking. Participants were given eight days to complete the puzzle as many times as possible. The contest ran from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day.
Makayla Malloy had the fastest single completion time at 0:17:53. There were three other people who managed to get a single completion time under 20 minutes. Kyle Kossin at 0:18:47, Melinda Whiting at 0:18:58 and Jarom Chung at 0:19:43.
Jarom Chung completed the puzzle the most times at 32. Erika Hunter was second with 28 and Megan Chung was third at 27. For Jarom, that’s a total of 9,600 pieces places in eight days!
Overall, there were 27 people that completed the puzzle for a total of 235 times! That’s a total of 70,500 pieces placed during the competition. The average completion time was 0:35:38. View the full results here.
